When you have black video without connection loss of your IP camera or video encoder, check first the 2 common courses before checking all other possible courses.
- Firewall(s) must be switched off.
The web page of the IP camera or video encoder does open with the Firewall switched on or off. However the Siqura Viewer for Live Video in the webpage will be blocked by the the Firewall. The result is black video.
- Bandwidth is (to) low.
When the network bandwidth is very low, there still can be a network connection with the IP camera or the video encoder. If there is not enough bandwith available for an additional video stream, you will see a black video without connection loss.
